Picking the perfect spot was only the beginning. We found a patch of land off a rural road, and we thought this is perfect! With the beautiful backdrop of the landscape, A began to set up for our first Luxe and Lavender shoot. Right away it was us against nature, the wind was furious, and our delicate glass pieces began to take flight (nothing a piece of tape here and there wouldn’t fix). Whoever said modeling was easy clearly never had to hold their dress down, make sure their hair isn’t matted to their face, and all the while “smeyezing” the entire time . With the items we chose, we hoped to give our readers a little snippet into our lives. From the vintage trunks (one of which journeyed from Africa, with A’s mother when she immigrated to Canada) to our coffee mugs, they are peek into our everyday lives.
